Biotech in Boston

The Boston Business Journal’s 2024 Biotech in Boston event needed a brand refresh — one that felt current without losing its credibility. The brief was focused: clearly communicate biotech without leaning on tired visual clichés. The goal was something immediately recognizable, clean, and professional — an identity that could hold its own in both a conference hall and a digital feed.

From there, I led the full redesign of the logo and visual identity, finding a direction that felt precise and modern while staying grounded in the event’s established reputation. Once the identity was locked, the work expanded into building out a cohesive system that could travel across every touchpoint.

The final deliverables covered the full event lifecycle — promotional and digital platform ads, social media and email materials, event day signage, and the presentation deck. Each piece was rooted in the same visual language, giving the event a consistent, polished presence from first impression to the day itself.
