Queen Lili‘uokalani Re-Dedication Ceremony Program & E-vite. This not the first time that Queen Lili’uokalani’s profile has been used as a logo, but this was my take on it.

I was inspired by the artist Olly Moss. He published a book full of silhouette of famous people and characters. I paid very close attention to what set his piece apart from others.

When it came to look of the piece, I wanted it to give a classy vibe, but with a modern twist. I thought that the font used for the headers would dictate this. It took awhile, but I think I was able to find a font that looked like a modern take on a classic serif font.

This piece was put together during my time @ Design Asylum, Inc.
